Trip to PA and DC (Cobb's Wedding)

Hello party peoples,

Two weekends ago we traveled to the great state of Pennsylvania to attend one of my good friend's (Nathan) wedding. I had the honor of being a groomsman. It was fun spending the night at Gray's house in Bristow, VA on the way there. Friday was eventful, to say the least. We left early from Gray's with the intention of doing some sight-seeing in DC. Little did we know what was in store for us. Our actual seeing of the sights was minimal b/c finding parking was rough, we also got lost. We can laugh at it now, but after a while we had both lost patience. On a good note, we learned our lesson and realized that God was in control. We lost sight of the most important aspect - our Sovereign Creator. That's what sinners do sometimes.

We arrived in Carlisle, PA at about 8 pm on Friday night, and Cobb had decided that the guys would go bowling. We rocked it out! Literally, we played Rock-n-roll bowling from 11pm-2am. We fit in almost six games! (We finished 9 frames on the last game.) It was a lot of fun.

Saturday was very nice and relaxing. I didn't have to be at there until 12, so I had time to sleep in from the late night before. Rebecca just had to arrive by 2:30, so it was great for both of us. It was an outdoor wedding, and we couldn't have asked for nicer weather - mid 70s and little windy.

On Sunday, we re-tried our sight-seeing adventure in DC, now a little bit wiser. My friend Mary was with us. This time, we decided to take the metro into the city. Good choice. Over the course of day, we went to the National Archives and American History Museum.
