Hill Ridge Farm

The Byrds headed out to Hill Ridge Farm Oct. 16th to enjoy some fall fun! We had a great time spending the afternoon there.
Our first stop once we got there was the Chuckwagon Grill. They have yummy food! Jimmy and I got cheeseburgers, and Charlie enjoyed a corndog.

We got him this juice to go with his meal, and he was absolutely intent on drinking it like this! He wanted nothing to do with his juice cup or a straw.

Running through Ft. Arrowhead

The big tipi!

Next was the hayride out to the pumpkin patch. The tractor driver tried to get a family pic for us before we got started....

...but we couldn't get both boys to look at the camera at the same time and keep their eyes open!
(Never mind smiling...)

Charlie was quiet at the beginning of the ride, but once he got used to it he was very excited!
When we pulled up at the pumpkin patch, he was giddy to see so many pumpkins! He ran around looking at all of them, pointing at them, and touching them. I think he would've taken them all home if he could have! We got to pick two pumpkins since we paid for two admission bands (this is the only year both kids will be free!).

All the "covered wagons."

Once we got back, we checked out the animals.

Pardon the back end of the goat. I just thought it was neat that he was standing on that.

Next was the sand!

Happy Henry!
We put overalls and a red shirt on him, which I thought was a fun outfit to wear to the farm! He also had on his denim knock-off Toms.

Corn pit!!!
*Jimmy got in the corn pit too, but our camera told us the battery was exhausted so we didn't take pictures. A little while later I turned the camera on to try to take a picture, and it worked fine. Weird! While Jimmy was in the corn pit, I took Henry to swing for the first time! He really enjoyed it!
We all left with corn in our pants that day....

The BIG slide! So fun!

I was really thankful for the ridges inside the slide that slowed us down!

Watching big brother

Teething!

Charlie taking a minute to get refreshed. You can't really tell, but his shirt was wet at the top where he kept trying to drink this by himself and spilled some. But he had fun!

The Train Ride
Daddy and Charlie rode together

Mommy and Henry

All the Byrds

Pooped little Henry...he fell asleep leaning against his bottle.

Charlie ended his day with some rainbow sherbet!

Sharing with Daddy.

While we were there we found out that Jimmy got the job he interviewed for at Cisco!! This made our afternoon extra exciting.
We had a fun afternoon at Hill Ridge Farm! Happy Fall!
