Happy 4th of July!

We had a great day together on the 4th this year!

We tried to figure out something Charlie would enjoy, so we opted for cupcakes, watermelon, the baby pool, and friends! 

We started out by getting everyone dressed up all patriotic.

We went to Hardee's to eat a hot dog lunch since Shorty's was closed. It was delish!

We got a flag at Dollar Tree, and Charlie loved waving it around.

Here is our front yard set-up. We brought our kitchen table out here too so we'd have something to put the drinks and watermelon on. After Charlie's nap, we all came outside to party! We got to hang out with two neighborhood families as well as our friends Mandie and Jason. We went in when it started to storm.

After a while, Mandie and Jason were the only ones left. Jimmy, Jason, and Charlie left to go get us Taco Bell for dinner, and then we all watched "The Patriot" together afterwards.

We're so thankful for the sacrifices many have made to ensure our freedom.
