Playdoh and 'Dozers

 

 

Charlie loves playdoh! On this particular morning he added his construction equipment to the playdoh mix.

 

It can be hard to keep things interesting when the weather is cold and wet, but I'm trying! One morning I put uncooked macaroni pasta into a pan and let him bulldoze that. One morning we got a snack from Sonic and were going to drive over to the construction site he likes and watch them work. I was going to let Charlie sit in the front seat and eat up there with me. Well, the only piece of equipment that was there was the skid steer. And it was parked. So we ate our snack together (banana, apple, and tater tots) and watched the trucks go by on the road and the delivery truck in the Ale House parking lot. Charlie loved sitting in the front seat- he pushed all the buttons and asked about everything! Then I said he could trade seats with me, and he got a kick out of pretending to drive! He did honk the horn a few times. After a while in the drivers seat, we played around in the back seat. Simple entertainment, but we had fun!

 

Another afternoon we took a trip to Pet Smart. We saw fish, birds, a snake, a mouse, a couple cats, and some dogs there with their owners. Fun times!
