Saturday Adventures (Trips to the Airport and Triad Equipment Company)

Henry's first trip to the airport (April 6th) and first time in the sand- he wasn't thrilled with either.

He mostly pushed his dump truck around in the grass.

His second trip (May 18th)- walking around like a big boy!

Charlie always enjoys going to the airport and had asked several times during this particular week if we could go. He enjoyed walking this wall, playing with the rocks, playing in the sand, and most especially watching the planes take off and land from his view on the observation deck. We headed to Chick-fil-A for lunch afterwards and then home for nap.

One Saturday we took the boys to Triad Equipment Company to look at all the machinery. The guys inside said Charlie could even sit on some of the equipment! He was hesitant to get too close at first but warmed up after a little while.

We were probably at Triad Equipment about an hour; they had lots of things to look at! Besides the machines pictured, they had lawn mowers, a dump truck, some construction equipment, etc. After our trip there we headed to Cici's Pizza for lunch and then home for naptime.
