5 Months!

Yesterday Charlie was 5 months old! In the midst of all the Father's Day festivities I forgot to take a picture of him. So here he is at five months and one day!

We don't have weight and height stats this month since we didn't have a well baby check-up, but he is a happy growing boy and such a wonderful blessing! In addition to making all kinds of noises with his lips, he loves to be outside, he still has fun splashing in the tub and now in his baby pool, he does a great job eating his rice cereal and is getting ready to start string beans, and he is getting better at sitting up with support. He loves being around other people (and tries to contribute to the discussion during small group...), he does his Tigger Jump Up every day, and he likes to play in his exersaucer, especially if he's sitting in front of the storm door (so he can look outside).

Well, this is the tray to Charlie's feeding seat. He seems to have recently discovered that is has colorful pictures and likes to look at it and bang on it while waiting for cereal. Actually, he likes to bang on everything now. Case in point:

The computer! Steph Lyon gave this to Charlie since her kids had outgrown it, and he loves it! Of course he has no clue how to actually work it correctly, but he does like to practice his "typing."

Behold the new exersaucer below! Meredith found a good deal on this at a tag sale. Thank you so much!! He LOVES it and we were finally able to give back Granana's that we were borrowing! It has a mirror that he loves, as well as a puppy that has captured his attention, and buttons that play music.

He also loves his monkey that cousin Susan gave him! He smiles at it lots! Thank you!

As you can see from the picture, his cheeks light up when he plays a song!

Our precious little guy who is just irrestible to me! Oh, I have a FULL heart.
