11 Months!

Somehow the year is flying by and Charlie is now 11 months old! I can't believe that we'll soon be celebrating his first birthday!

Well, Monday the 19th was an interesting (but fun) day for sure. Charlie started off his 11 month birthday festivities by falling off our bed. Yep. I freaked out, Jimmy kept his cool, and Charlie was fine. Just a little surprised to hit the floor and annoyed he momentarily lost his bottle. Anyway.... here are some pictures from the day!

Cruising with his walker that morning!

I had a doctor's appointment that morning, so he and I headed out of the house earlier than normal. We got back in time for lunch, and I decided to take him to Chick-fil-A for the 11 month occasion. He had his first four-count chicken nugget meal and loved it!

Here he is watching the leaf blower man. He thought it was hilarious!

I have now learned to put the toilet paper roll on the other way....

Walking some more

Swinging! He really loves to swing. I think it's one of his favorite things to do.

Some things I want to remember from this period:

*butt cannonballs in the bathtub (this did not last long- we nipped it in the bud)- he would stand up, plop down in his duck splashing water everywhere, and laugh in delight

*his snorting thing when he gets excited (which he stopped doing, only to adopt this thing where he sucks in air and makes a noise at the same time when he's excited....)

*he loves playing peek-a-boo

*his best buddy is Ashlyn, who he plays with regularly- he is always so excited to see her!

*he is doing a great job eating big boy food

*most of the time he uses a paint bucket in the kitchen as his "walker"

*he still loves wheels of all kinds and loves going outside
