Jackie Robinson Day - A Day When Legends Are Born

We had a great, fun-filled day on Sunday! Josh Reed, a member at our church, preached a great sermon from Deuteronomy 10. Since a lot of the women from church were at the Women's Retreat, I signed up to help out with the kindergarten class and had a blast. Rebecca took care of the bed babies and got to snuggle.

After church, we had lunch at home and then went to Flaherty Park for Charlie to play around. We had a fun time playing on the playground, running around on the baseball field for the 1ST TIME, and checking out the pond.

This was Charlie's 1st Time stepping onto the baseball field, and it also just happened to be Jackie Robinson Day. You what that means, right?! Yes, great things will be coming from this little man on the diamond. Well, at least a dad can hope. He has enjoyed watching kids practice so far.

We had fun on the playground. We are climbing up to go down the big slide!
